Affiliate Disclosure

Our Commitment to Transparency
I built Metadata Marketer to give you the truth about AI tools. No hype. No politics. Just what works and what doesn’t.
I earn commissions when you buy through affiliate links on this site. You don’t pay extra. I get a small cut from the vendor. This is how I fund the testing, the research, and the writing.
But here’s the deal: that commission doesn’t change my score.
How This Works
When I review a tool I’m affiliated with, I mark it clearly in the report. You’ll see: “Affiliate link. Editorial independence preserved.”
That’s it. You know, and you decide.
The Hype Check Is the Guarantee
Every tool gets the same test. Same 5 signals. Same scoring system. No shortcuts for partners. No favors.
I review plenty of tools I make zero money from. I also trash-talk tools I’m affiliated with if they deserve it. My credibility is worth more than any commission.
Billing Warnings Are Non-Negotiable
If a tool auto-upgrades you without asking, hides fees in the small print, or surprises you at renewal time, you’ll see a Billing Warning. Period.
I don’t care if it’s my affiliate partner. Bad practice gets called out.
What You Can Count On
- The Hype Check scores come from 5 measurable data points, not opinion
- Affiliate status doesn’t change the score
- If something is broken, you’ll know
- Every report tells you if there’s an affiliate link
- Your success matters more than my commission
How the Score Works
The Intelligence Pipeline runs on the same system every time. Community Adoption. Pricing. Benchmarks. Expert Sentiment. Release Maturity. Five signals. One score.
Read the Pipeline page to see exactly how it works. That’s the proof.
